The summative five-year reporting process ensures that faculty engages with the full range of direct and indirect student assessment data and elicits a report that is a product of their thoughtful analysis of, reflection on and response to these data in context.

For undergraduate programs, faculty review and report five years of data for key courses on enrollment, grades and course evaluations as well as results from the National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE).

For graduate programs, the report emphasizes student progression rates, providing five years of data for key courses and five years of data on enrollment, retention, and attainment of milestones such as the passage of comprehensive exams and completing degrees.
